About Carri

Hey and thank you for stopping by my page! I want to tell you a bit about myself. I am from a small, rural town in North Carolina called Henderson. Prior to the start of my career in real estate, I was a dental hygienist. I attended Elon University (NC), studied there for a year and a half before deciding to pursue a program in Dental Hygiene. I attended Wake Technical Community College and was accepted into their inaugural hygiene class in 2002. I graduated two years later as a licensed Dental Hygienist. I worked in Oxford, NC for a husband and wife dental practice before transitioning to work with my dad who practiced dentistry in Henderson, NC. I met my future husband during my time in school and we were married in October of 2004. We have been blessed with two sons who are 13 and 8 years old. While working with my dad, my husband was working on his Ph.D. in education. Upon his graduation we moved to Alabama where he worked at the University level for two years. During our time in Alabama, we were far away from family and when given the opportunity to move back to North Carolina, we took it. We lived in Oak Ridge, NC for a short 18 months until we moved and made Durham, NC our home. It was in Durham that I had a family member suggest that I go back to school. I did and became a Real Estate agent. I could not be happier with this decision. I love helping people with all aspects of real estate. I still work part-time as a Dental Hygienist 1-2 days a week and enjoy coaching volleyball at my children’s school. When I am not doing those things, I enjoy sewing, embroidery, and spending time with family.
